Baby & Ruby the Guinea Pig needs a home

Baby & Ruby arrived at MHRR as owner surrenders in late Jan 2018.

Baby is around 1.5-2 years old. Baby likes veggies and bananas and will eat them from your hand. She is sweet but timid, stays alone a lot but is talkative when she wants something - especially treats! She will nibble to explore but is not aggressive/defensive. While she doesn't like being reached for she will sit with you while being held or out for playtime. She has been around small children. She loves to explore new things, whether it is food, a hide out, blankets, even music! Because she doesn't appear to be bonded to the other pig we will adopt them out separately but recommend that they go together for company.

This pet is fostered in Prairieville, LA.

MHRR asks a $25 adoption fee for guinea pigs, or $40 for a pair. Not all of our g-pigs are spayed/neutered, but can be done for an additional cost.
